President and Portfolio Manager
Brian Rosen has over 15 years of public markets experience. He began his career at Bryant Park Capital and TD Securities, where he worked as an investment banking analyst covering numerous sectors and industries, notably, Energy, Financials and Airlines.
While enrolled at McGill’s MBA Investment Management, Brian was an equity analyst at Desautels Capital Management, a student run registered investment firm managing alumni funds.
Upon graduating, he worked as an investment advisor at CIBC Wood Gundy and in September 2015, launched Rosen Partnership.
Brian currently serves as a volunteer board member for BANAV educational services and Hebrew Academy in Montreal.
Portfolio Manager
Jason brings over a decade of experience in investment management, having held key roles at respected firms including Desautels Capital Management, Galliant Advisors, and Waratah Capital Advisors. At Waratah, he successfully managed multiple long/short equity portfolios across both generalist and sector-specific strategies, with a particular focus on the technology industry. Having worked in both public and private markets, he offers a distinctive perspective that shapes his investment approach. Jason earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honours in Investment Management from McGill University.
Associate Portfolio Manager
Ian has a very diverse background that helps him bring valuable wisdom, compassion, and presence to his client relationships. Growing up in Calgary, Ian graduated there with a degree in International Relations and minor in German. Ian has lived abroad England and Germany, is a master yoga and meditation teacher, and is an experienced recording artist and composer.
Aside from his professional experience and accreditations, investing is innate in Ian. He’s done it in one way or another his entire life, whether it was arbitraging electric guitars or cars as a teenager, in his ten years as a private equity investor, or in public equities as a “Quality-on-Sale” value investor for the last eight years. Ian helps his clients generate impactful investment and financial plans that designed to create greater financial freedom and life potential.
